Studying graphics at Holy Cross has been a major factor in choosing my career path. During first year I got the opportunity to explore various software apps that allowed me to explore my style. I discovered that I love using Adobe illustrator; it has enabled me to work with different types of styles and experiment with different colour pallets.
I also learnt a wide range of skills such as branding, logos, print and websites; there are endless phases of development. You have full advantage of lots of equipment you can access to establish your own interest. Having the opportunity to choose your own themes on the course has been very rewarding because it lets you focus on your individuality to create a meaningful piece of work. The opportunity in lessons to share your work with like minded people creates a supportive space for continued improvement.
Moving forward into my career choice of studying Fashion Design at university, I know that my Graphics knowledge will strongly empower my designs and illustrations.
